Militants driving a pickup with a mortar sought cover behind the UN-led aid convoy that was destroyed near Aleppo, the Russian military has said, releasing a video from one of its monitoring drones in Syria.
The convoy with humanitarian aid heading to the embattled city of Aleppo can be seen being accompanied by a militant pickup truck, Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov has said.

WNU Editor: Why is the Russian MoD releasing of this video? I guess they want to justify the air strike if it is proven that they did it. As to what's my take on who did the military strike .... too many contradictions and unknowns right now. We still are not sure if it was an air strike .... it could have been an artillery strike launched from anyone in the region. Anyway .... my gut is telling me that it was the Syrian army that did it .... but the rebels, the U.S., Russia .... they also do not have an exemplary reputation in Syria, and they could have done this to make the other side look bad. Saying that this is a "false flag" operation done by one side to make the other side look bad would not be a stretch.
