Another hound dies in Wisconsin-sanctioned wolf-dog confrontation

Wisconsin allows hunting dog owners known as 'hounders' to run their hounds off-leash to chase (harass) baited bears, even though the hounds often run into predictable fatal confrontations with predatory, den-protecting wolves. The latest hound to die in this state-sanctioned practice - - which includes state reimbursements of $2,500 per--hound killed in this fashion - - is a Bluetick, like this one.
