Heinz-Christian Strache has been to Israel several times.

"Strache’s views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict more closely resemble those of the Likud and Jewish Home parties than those of the Zionist Union.

"For instance, he supports Israel’s right to build settlements in the West Bank and advocates moving the Austrian Embassy from Ramat Gan to Jerusalem."

In a letter to Netanyahu earlier this year, Strache said he would take it upon himself to do all in his power, "be it legislative or eventually executive, to move the Embassy from its actual place in Ramat Gan to Jerusalem."
