Toronto Sun/Washington Post: JFK files reveal sex parties, a stripper named Kitty, surveillance and assassination plots

President Donald Trump ordered the release of more than 2,800 records related to the John F. Kennedy assassination on Thursday, but bowed to pressure from the CIA, FBI and other agencies to delay disclosing some of the most sensitive documents for another six months. Even so, the thousands of pages that were published online by the National Archives Thursday evening describe decades of spies and surveillance, informants and assassination plots.

More than a dozen reporters and editors for The Washington Post combed through the documents on Thursday night. Here are some of the wildest things they found, some of which have been reported about before and some new.

On a side note .... sorry for the lack of blog posts this morning. I have been spending my time reading the JFK files and the reaction to what is in those files. It is quite a read. On a sad note .... I wish my father was alive to read all of this. He was fascinated by the John F. Kennedy assassination, and he always believed that there was more than one person involved, as well as a Communist link/angle to it (but not direct Soviet or Cuban government involvement).
