Walker and Foxconn will star this afternoon in the biggest business and political media event to ever hit Racine.
Then, after they've mingled and the mingled and Kringled, and the photos are opped and the big question which everyone wants addressed is answered - - will Walker and pity pot prince Robin Vos kiss and make up? - - the real meetings will begin a few miles and hours away at the grassroots in the Village of Mount Pleasant, pop. 26,200.
The real meetings which Walker and Foxconn brass will skip because the people there and their stories and images would not go well in campaign brochures or company reports.
But will fill the meetings where local officials and residents will start sorting out the deal's collateral damage - - like who chooses, and why, to stay and live close to the construction and operation of a factory bigger than the US Pentagon running 24/7/365.
Or who will move out voluntarily, or through government property seizure order, their homes, businesses, farm houses and fields

falling to the bulldozers and road-graders. Or wetland-filling contractors.
Real meetings where local officials and taxpayers will figure out how to pay for, then pray over, the $764 million Foxconn tab assigned to them by Wisconsin officials to supplement $3 billion state dollars Walker signed over at his dog-and-pony show this afternoon to the already-super-wealthy Taiwanese company and its owners.
