I haven't see a flip like this since the snowboarding finals at the Sochi Winter Olympic games.
After bashing Obamacare at every turn, and repeatedly turning aside hundreds of millions of federal dollars to expand health coverage in Wisconsin, Walker now wants the feds and state taxpayers to fund a strengthening of Obamacare in Wisconsin with a fresh infusion of $200 million public dollars.
Can you say "election-year hypocrisy? And jitters?"
And Walker's conversion to Obamacare's importance comes on the heels of his belatedly embrace of Democratic - - and Governor, "it's "Democratic" when talking about the party, not your ignorant and snarky "Democrat"[Sic] - - calls to finally close the violence-wracked Lincoln Hills youth prison which the record shows Walker allowed to fester since 2012.
Walker's new appreciation of Democratic Party priorities also comes after many tweets and talking-point spin aimed at tricking potential 2018 voters into believing that local school funding he's returning in his current budget make districts whole after his historic first-budget's meat-axing (it doesn't).
Obviously rattled by the loss of a safe GOP State Senate seat in a Northwestern Wisconsin special election last week, and justifiably saddled with the erratic, unpopular and misogynistic Trump after having spoken for him at the 2016 Republican National Convention, we await discovering what Democratic proposal or ideal Walker steals next.
