Daily Mail/Reuters: Saudi Crown Prince says Turkey is part of a 'triangle of evil' along with Iran and hardline Islamist groups

* Mohammed bin Salman said Turkey was trying to reinstate the Islamic Caliphate
* He said Turkey, Iran and Islamist groups formed a 'triangle of evil'
* Saudi Arabia was successful in blocking Iran's regional ambitions, he said
* The kingdom is also deeply suspicious of Turkey's President Erdogan

Saudi Arabia's powerful Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has described Turkey as part of a 'triangle of evil' along with Iran and hardline Islamist groups.

Egypt's Al-Shorouk newspaper reported on Wednesday that the Saudi prince also accused Turkey of trying to reinstate the Islamic Caliphate, abolished nearly a century ago when the Ottoman Empire collapsed.

The Crown Prince at the same time dismissed his country's long-running dispute with Gulf neighbor Qatar as 'very trivial' - although he conceded that it might drag on for a long time.
