And later yesterday, his lawyer said he wouldn't even take a pardon if offered. First, yes he would, but by brushing off even the possibility of a pardon, that's clearly not what Cohen is doing. This isn't a play for a pardon, and he didn't cut a deal before his guilty plea. Huh?! I really, really don't get it. Cohen's got nothin'. Best guess-- he made some intimations about what he might have, Mueller called bullshit and said, "maybe we'll talk after your guilty plea, but you're caught, and dead to rights." At this point, I doubt Cohen has anything, and maybe The Onion is right, as usual. Cohen is just doing everything wrong. If he had kept his mouth shut, he'd be in Trump's good graces, and like Manafort, waiting for a likely pardon. Remember how pissed Trump was about the raid on Cohen's office? Now, though? He's toast, and he's got nothin'.
