Saturday music: If you don't love country, you hate 'mer'ca

In the tradition of such great guitarists as Roy Buchanan and Danny Gatton, there's Jim Weider, who favors the symbol of country music, the Fender Telecaster.  Like Buchanan and Gatton, Weider draws on a range of influences, in throws blues and rock in with country twang.  Great stuff.  He also had an association with The Band, so... yeah.  Jim Weider.  Here's Jim Weider & The Honky Tonk Gurus, "Deepest Cut," from Big Foot.  (Has anyone heard from Denver Riggleman lately?  I was going for a play on the song title rather than the album title when I picked this, but, um...)
