While there is much work to do after Walker's eight-year war on Wisconsin's precious waters, let's salute on World Water Day 2019 the great citizen organizing and legal advocacy which has reversed flawed DNR groundwater permits issued for the Kohler golf course on Lake Michigan, a destructive sand mine proposal into a rare wetland, and high-capacity well withdrawals for industrial-scale users.
