Brief comment on Justin Amash

OK, one more quick one.  Yes, Justin Amash abandoned the GOP over Donald Trump.  I'm just going to link to another of my posts over Amash and his status in the GOP.  Here.

The GOP is a Donald Trump personality cult.  Nothing more.  It is that way because its motivating principle is white identity politics, and it has been that way for a long time.  Amash is not, fundamentally, motivated by white grievance, so he never drank the Trump Kool-Aid.  That's why he was never a team player, even before Trump.
