Investigative and extensive reporting by The Verge discloses that Foxconn has backed away from a contract amendment negotiation it proposed, and which the Evers administration believes is mandatory given the project's many changes and uncertainties - - with the future of the heavily-subsidized and already-shrinking Mt. Pleasant facility in doubt.
