So why did the Grand Master game them? Simple. He had enough of these people trying to make him a lame duck Prime Minister.
The media knew the Grand Master has between 130 to 140 statutory declarations. That was when the congregation at Sheraton Hotel happened. But for some reasons these goons thought the Grand Master was bluffing. So they waited one day to see if they can call his bluff.
The next day, Bersatu's exit triggered the collapse of PH. PH initially had about 139 MPs. But Bersatu's exit means 26 MPs are gone, and Azmin brought his 11 with him. So PH plummeted all the way to 139 - 37 = 102 MPs. Then, Shafie Apdal of Warisan in Sabah declared support to the Grand Master, not PH. So from 102 it is now only left with 92.
That is when the Grand Master resigned because technically the PH government has collapsed. There is no more PH government because PH do not have the majority anymore.
The Grand Master met the King, showed the 130 he has and was reinstalled the interim PM because only he has a clear majority. That was when the Grand Master's detractors realised......... "shit, we made the wrong move".
So these people scrambled to meet Mahathir at Putrajaya, only to find out he was not at his office. They went to Seri Kembangan to see if the Grand Master was home. They found him there, met him, persuaded him, begged him to return as PH's PM.
Not only that. DAP also made a PC declaring support to Mahathir because DAP doesn't want to miss the boat and be the Opposition. Same goes to Amanah who released a statement supporting the Grand Master because they too don't want to miss the boat and become Opposition.
So today we have a PH (DAP, Amanah, PKR) begging Tun who is not part of PH to be their PM.
We also have the others (Sabah, Sarawak, Bersatu, UMNO, PAS) nominating Mahathir as their PM.
Full bipartisanship support for one man!
The best part is..... the PH (PKR DAP Amanah) nomination of the Grand Master as PM does not come with a condition to pass the baton to Anwar!
See... The Grand Master was patient for 22 months. When he finally made his move within 2 days, he won, of course. That is why he is THE GRAND MASTER of Malaysian politics. He is in a league above every single other politician.
So now......
Any cocky jokers in PKR Youth still demanding the Grand Master's resignation?
Any cocky DAP leader proudly claiming PH can be government without Bersatu?
Any cocky Amanah leader want to throw names as next PM and DPM?
Most importantly, any cocky so called PM in waiting creating a timeline for himself?
