Or is Johnson getting some flattery on the record about Trump - no matter how insincere is the falsehood - to trick Trump into believing Johnson was a reliable friend right up until he joins the delegation of sorrowful Senators who troop down to the White House and tell Trump, as Barry Goldwater and other Republicans did in 1974 when they told Tricky Dick Nixon to get out, that Trump's time is up?

Incidentally, Trump might have earned even more than those extra 200,000 votes had the COVID-19 pandemic which he ignored, downplayed, enabled, golfed through and lied about not killed more than 2,100 of Wisconsin's 250,000 virus victims by election day.
