* CIA official in charge of overseeing President Biden's daily intelligence briefing reportedly lead a standoff between the CIA and Senate Intelligence Committee
* In 2013, Morgan Muir, who was a senior CIA analyst, played a lead role in advocating for the CIA's inaccurate claims defending its torture program

* Muir will no longer be tasked with directly briefing the president and will instead oversee the assembly of the written President's Daily Brief
The man who has been in charge of overseeing President Joe Biden's daily intelligence briefings will no longer do so.
Morgan Muir will be moved to a new role within the White House and is now expected to oversee the assembly of the written President's Daily Brief instead.
The brief is assembled from various reports from across the intelligence community, but he will no longer lead the in-person briefings.
