New Voice Of Ukraine: Zelenskyy to unveil peace plan in February, WSJ reports
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team are working on a peace proposal to be presented around Feb. 24, 2023 – the first anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, The Wall Street Journal reported on Dec. 22, citing EU and Ukrainian diplomats.
According to the report, Kyiv first seeks to maximize its negotiating position by securing as many “military victories” as it can.
EU diplomats told WSJ that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin still hopes to launch another major offensive between February and April 2023, and therefore is unlikely to seriously consider negotiations before he can see if the plan pans out.

When Ukrainian President Zelensky was in Washington this week he told some in Congress that he had proposed a “peace formula” in his meeting with President Biden where he hopes will result in joint security guarantees for decades to come. I can only assume that it is the same 10-point peace formula that he has been circulating for the past two months, the big one being the complete withdrawal of all Russian troops to the borders before 2014.
Update #2: The Kremlin has responded to these media reports .... Kremlin comments on Kiev’s purported peace plan (RT). But I know that when it comes to the Zelensky government and Western guarantees, Moscow no longer trusts Zelensky and the West.
