What Is Wrong With U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell?

* Doctors have speculated that the Senate Minority Leader may be experiencing seizures. 

* Absence seizures can cause the person affected to space out and lose awareness of their surroundings. 

Doctors have speculated that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell may be having seizures after he awkwardly froze up again during a press conference. 

McConnell, 81, was taking a reporter's question about running for reelection during a news conference on Wednesday when he suddenly appeared disoriented and confused.

As to what is my take. 

I am not a doctor but when my father had his stroke, months later he had many of these episodes where he just froze. Take it from me. It was a very uncomfortable (and scary) event to experience that. 

It is clear to me that U.S. Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell is still suffering from the concussion he suffered earlier this year .... Mitch McConnell hospitalized with a concussion after a fall (NPR). He is 81 years old. He needs to take some time off to rest and recuperate.
