Changes coming to The Unmutual Political Blog

Folks, I've been posting daily since early 2016, and... this is tiring.  To cut to the chase, I'm going to shift to posting primarily on the weekends, and see how that goes.

I started The Unmutual Political Blog as a fun way to get myself writing in the mornings and get a few ideas out while enjoying my morning coffee.  If I can fit in references to The Prisoner, as in the blog title, some jazz, and a bunch of tributes to His Holiness, George Carlin along the way, so much the better.  Writing is one of those things that you need to practice anyway, so make it fun.  Here's the thing.  Sometimes, there is just so much happening and so much I want to write, or feel obligated to write, that it's overwhelming, and other times, I just don't feel like writing anything, and it's a damned slog.  Doing this daily is just not sustainable anymore.

So, I'm going to shift to weekend posting.  I'll chime in with brief comments throughout the week on occasion, as with this morning's Sessions post, and I think I'll keep up the music posts, because those are still fun.  However, I think it'll be more fun if I save up the thoughts of the week for weekend analysis of what really matters rather than trying to either keep up with the daily insanity, or force myself to write on shit when I don't feel like doing it because there's other shit to do.

Anyway, when something major happens during the week, I'll probably chime in here, and periodically put up something brief mid-week because I can't bring myself to use Twitter, or any of that shit.  However, I think weekend posting is the way to go for now.  Why?  Because I'm tired.  Which brings me to this, obviously...
