Dr. John? He was truly one of the greats. Saturday is country music. Dr. John wasn't really known for country. He'd play with some Cajun-influenced musicians, especially on their blues-based material, but he played with everyone. Because he was Dr. John. He recorded with Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris... everyone. He was Dr. John.
Here's a live performance with Willie Nelson, because I normally put up country music on Saturdays. More blues, because it's Dr. John, but Willie plays everything from country to blues to jazz to... well, he even tried to record reggae.
