CBS: Biden and Harris call for three-month nationwide mask mandate
Former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris are calling for a three-month nationwide mask mandate to limit the spread of coronavirus.
During a briefing by public health experts in Wilmington, Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, told reporters that all the nation's governors should require this.
"Every single American should be wearing a mask when they're outside for the next three months, at a minimum. Every governor should mandate mandatory mask-wearing," Biden said, suggesting that widespread mask use could save 40,000 lives over the next three months. "Let's institute a mask mandate nationwide starting immediately, and we will save lives."

I always feel uncomfortable when political leaders make political statements (i.e. Biden's remark that you must be patriotic by wearing a mask) on what should solely be a medical and scientific call. And as for wearing a mask. I always wear a mask when I am in a public place and where social distancing is not possible. But wearing a mask outside?!?!? And when I am alone?!?!?!? That makes no sense. That is why I am not surprised that no data that was provided to back this claim by the former Vice President and Senator Kamala Harris. They also refused to take any questions. And on a final note. Who will enforce such a mandate?
