US State Department Now Telling All Remaining Americans In Afghanistan To Make Their Way To Kabul Airport

A CBS reporter was on board one of the US jets that took off on Tuesday night. She said there were 300 people on board - half the number that were removed on the same type of jet on Sunday

Daily Mail: State Department tells ALL remaining Americans in Afghanistan to make their way to Kabul airport and claims the Taliban will let them through - after putting just 100 people on plane that can fit 600

* 18 US Air Force C-17 cargo jets were used overnight to remove 2,000 people from Kabul

* The planes each can carry around 600 people and one took 640 out of Kabul on Sunday night

* But on Tuesday, one had just 300 people on board - it means the remaining 17 took 1,700, an average of 100 per flight

* The UK, Italy, Germany and Australia are also sending planes away half-empty while thousands beg to be let in at the airport gates

* The State Department is now telling people in Afghanistan to head to the airport to be put on a flight

 * No one can get through to the airport to board the flights because of the chaos in the streets outside

 * The only guarantee of safety is coming from the Taliban, who are already becoming more violent

 * There has been no word from Joe Biden since his statement on Monday claiming he did the right thing

 * There are thousands of people waiting to be saved by the West after its decision to leave the region

 * The White House is refusing to take responsibility for the shambolic effort or offer any more help

 * Afghanistan's President Ashraf Ghani has turned up in Dubai after fleeing 'in a helicopter with cash'

The State Department is telling all remaining Americans in Afghanistan to make their way to the airport in Kabul and claims the Taliban will let them through, despite people on the ground reporting that they are being stopped on their way there.

Initially, the State Department was telling people to shelter in place and wait for them to tell them to come to the airport. Now, all of the remaining 11,000 citizens are being told to go to the airport.

WNU Editor: There is a lot of confusion on what is happening. The U.S. State Depart just said an hour ago that access was still being restricted by the Taliban (see video below).
